LEGAL AFFAIRS MANAGER |

Responsibilities:
• Responsible for corporate, commercial, regulatory and compliance issues in the Asia Pacific region, with a primary focus in the PRC and China. These include product safety compliance, manufacturing vendor issues, labor and employment issues
• Responsible for identifying and handling day to day legal issues and managing outside counsel including litigation
• Assist and support in operations and manufacturing contracts, customer sales agreement, and sales distribution deals
• Handle local competition, environmental, health & safety, and antitrust issues
• Oversee integrity and compliance programs, including conducting internal or external investigations; advise and conduct internal training on export control compliance, U.S. Foreign Corrupt Practices Act, Sarbanes-Oxley Act, equivalent anti-bribery laws in Asia-Pacific and workplace issues
Requirements:
• Bachelor Degree in J.D, LL.B. or law related discipline from other western jurisdictions with top academic qualifications
• 5-8 years experience of Asia-Pacific region. Preferable from law firm plus in-house experience of manufacture, consumer products, or other regulated industry
• Good understanding of legal and regulatory framework in the region, and US corporate governance and laws, laws against payments to foreign officials (FCPA), international trade and antitrust issues;
• Excellent oral and written communication skills, in both English and Mandarin
